In November of that year, Broadus was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. By the time Snoop Dogg's 2nd album, Tha Doggfather, was released in November 1996, the selling price of showing up to be a gang member "living the gangsta life" experienced turn out to be pretty obvious. In 2018, Broadus became "a born-all over again Christian" and produced his initial gospel album, Bible of Love in March of that year. Broadus then signed with Dre's label, Future Shock Records (which afterwards became recognized as Death Row Records). After his acquittal Snoop and the mother of his son together with their kennel of 20 pit bulls moved into a 5,000-sq.-foot (460 m2) house in the hills of Claremont, California and by August 1996 Doggy Style Records, a subsidiary of Death Row Records, signed the Gap Band Charlie Wilson as one of its initial artists. Snoop Doggy Dogg contributed vocals to Dre's solo one, "Deep Cover", which led to a large diploma of anticipation amongst hip hop for the release of his individual solo album.
